Erik Emil Eskildsen is an experimental guitarist and composer from Denmark specialised in free improvisation.
When performing he uses a combination of his guitar, effect pedals and laptop, to create instant compositions in the form of evolving textural layers of sound. With the use of realtime audio processing and live looping, he generates sounds veryunlike those normally experienced from the guitar. He has done live performances alone and as a member of different formations in Spain, Denmark, Germany, and Austria since 2006. His debut album “Slow Fire Burning Gently” was released in February 2012 on the German label iapetus.
