This project is very special. Stefan met Saku Vuori of Vuorensaku guitars at the Guitar Summit in Mannheim. While having a whisky we recognized that a friend, luthier and Touch Guitar player Jaakko Peltonen is working for Saku. Such a surprise. So we decided to make an aged Touch Guitar since Saku is an expert when it comes to aged looks. The deadwood pine is from Padasjoki, Finland and the wires on the P90 (afaik the only ones for an 8 string guitar) from an old Finnish cable company. So it is sustainable and local. During the building process Stefan had the idea to involve Sascha Greuter from Greuter Audio who was sharing a booth with Saku at the Summit. He has done serveral crazy projects with Saku but is usually building guitar pedals. Since we love the Fuller Drive Sascha had the idea to include it in a guitar. The pics show the result of this collaboration including amazing hand engraving from Paula Saunamäki from Finland.
